Located approximately thirty miles southeast of Dallas, Texas, Crandall Middle School recognizes the significant responsibility for educating students to become informed and capable citizens of not only the local community and the nation, but also the global society. CMS is committed to a multi-disciplinary, interactive study / action curriculum to provide academic enhancement and practical, real-world experience in research, political participation, conflict resolution, and a wide range of socio-economic concerns.

In addition to adhering to state standards for academic success, CMS students are actively engaged in a number of educational activities with students from international schools for the purpose of enhancing overall academic and cultural understanding. As Crandall's FAS Project Director, Ronnie Lynn Holley, Ph.D., says, "We have a century long tradition of providing quality education and view the FAS project as a contributing factor in our continuing success to produce students who become leaders in a wide range of fields throughout the nation and around the world."
